A skull sculpted from stone
This lapis lazuli skull ring is shaped, carved and polished by hand. The gemstone itself forms both the sculpted face and the continuous band, with no separate metal setting. Natural blue coloration and mineral markings become part of the finished sculpture. Inspired by skull imagery and Memento Mori, the design has a distinctive gothic character.
