At OLICONN, every custom piece is personal. We want you to feel confident throughout the creative process, from your initial idea to the finished jewelry.
1. Design & Development
Depending on the project, our design process may include AI-assisted concept images, sketches, digital renderings, CAD modeling, wax models, hand carving, or other design and development methods.
We will discuss the proposed design approach with you before beginning work.
Where applicable, you will have the opportunity to review the design or an agreed approval milestone and request reasonable revisions at no additional cost, provided the changes remain within the originally agreed specifications.
2. Our Design Commitment
We will make every reasonable effort to follow your original reference images, design requirements, and agreed specifications.
If our proposed design differs significantly from what was originally agreed and we are unable to resolve the differences through reasonable revisions, you may cancel the order and receive a full refund of your deposit, without any design or cancellation fees.
3. Cancellation Before Production
If you cancel for personal reasons before any design or development work has begun, you will receive a full refund of your deposit.
If design or development work has already begun, but custom production has not started, a $25 design service fee will be deducted from your deposit, and the remaining amount will be refunded.
4. Approval & Custom Production
The approval process may vary depending on the project and may involve design images, CAD renderings, physical models, material selections, or other agreed specifications.
Before beginning custom production or other non-refundable work, we will explain the relevant production stage and obtain your approval.
Custom production may include gemstone cutting, casting, metalworking, engraving, stone setting, and other project-specific processes.
Once custom production begins, the approved design can no longer be changed. Changes requested after approval may involve an additional fee, which we will confirm with you first.
5. Cancellation After Production Begins
Once custom production or other agreed non-refundable work has begun, cancellation requests will be reviewed based on the work completed and costs already incurred.
If you cancel for personal reasons, reasonable, documented, non-recoverable costs may be deducted from your payment. Any remaining refundable balance will be returned to you.
If we are unable to deliver the agreed design or specifications due to an issue on our side, we will offer an appropriate correction or refund, including a full refund where required.
6. Deposits & Final Payment
Your deposit, typically 50% of the quoted price, is paid when you accept your quotation and the proposed design approach. Design work begins once your deposit is received.
The deposit amount and payment schedule will be specified in your individual quotation.
Unless otherwise agreed, the remaining balance will be payable when your custom jewelry is completed and ready for shipment.
Any project-specific conditions, including design milestones, production requirements, and cancellation terms, will be communicated before payment.
7. After Delivery
Custom and personalized pieces are not eligible for change-of-mind returns or exchanges. If your piece arrives damaged, defective, or different from the approved design, please contact us and we will repair, remake, or refund it. Optional changes after delivery may be possible for a fee, which we will confirm with you first. See our Shipping & Returns policy for details.
8. Your Consumer Rights
Nothing in this policy limits any rights or remedies available to you under applicable consumer protection laws.
